ZZ TOP ROCKS

The boys rocked like it was the 80s. They played some awesome songs opening with Got me under Pressure. They closed with VIVA Las Vegas and jail house rock. VENETIAN THEATRE was an excellent venue with excellent acoustics for ZZs new sound equipment. The sweet smell rafting through the air was a pleasant bonus. Go see them you will not be dissapointed.

ZZTOP ROCKS

What a treat to see the boys play Saturday night at the Venetian. Best show in 10 years. They started with got me under pressure and ended with Viva Las Vegas and jail house Rock.the Venetian acoustics were excellent. The sweet smell permeating the air was a nice bonus. Go see them before you can’t.

ZZ TOP IS THE LEGENDARY ACT THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN... STILL!

Having seen them before.. indoors and outdoors for the venue... clowes hall on butlers campus is fairly quaint and quite easily accessed.. opening acts come and go but "the summit" which was the opener this time was very good... then come the bearded ones... seeming very polished and easy.. which I suppose 48 years together will do to an act. They amazed!! Entertained! And ROCKED!!! Billy Gibbons is still the worlds best and makes it look fun and easy... no angst or hostility.. just amazing blues rock that gets better with age!!!

THESE BOYS STILL GOT “IT!”

Frank, Dusty and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top rocked the The Venetian! What an awesome experience, to see these legends smoothly play, hit after hit! 🎶!

ANOTHER GREAT CONCERT

Great night for me and my bestie. Love ZZ Top. Wondered how it would be without Dusty. He was missed, but the show was fantastic. Did a great tribute to Dusty as well. I hope the band doesn't pay too much attention to these bad reviews. The band still rocks!!! Have always loved them and always will! For those of you complaining quit whining and be thankful you had the opportunity to see a legend.

ZZ TOP

Zz top was great as expected, cheap trick played great but wish they would have played more of there hits..the sound for cheap trick was absolutely horrible!!! When zz top came out the sound was still very bad . They seemed to get it not bad towards the end of the concert. Great concert very crappy sound

STILL PERFECTION!

They were great! Had not changed since I saw them last around 10 years ago..The crowd was boring. I was 12 rows back on the floor but in order to get kind of close to see them because I don't have glasses I kept on trying to get up like second row back and stand in the aisle or by the stage or something security keep on telling me & some others to move sit in their seat and so for me that was awful cuz it doesn't look like anybody was having any fun we're getting into it but well I was of course I keep on running from security LOL and being almost 62 years old my son took me and I loved every minute of it I mean every minute of it they were fantastic and of course the lead singer he captivated me once again. They're just plain wonderful.

ZZ ON TOP STILL!

Damn, what a great show! Sound quality was excellent and the boys are sooo tight. Billy is the coolest musician on the planet and a really nice guy. I met him at a gas stop in Utah a few years back and he chatted with us for 15 minutes and graciously signed autographs and posed for pics. He was really funny too.

THEY SILL GOT IT

I have seen them numerous times and Billy still has it. He is one cool bad ass!

GREAT FOR THE 75 MINUTES THEY PLAYED

Sounded great! Had the crowd rockin! Walking to the car at 915 on a beautiful evening - very disappointing. Wouldn't have spent the money had I known they were only going to play for an hour and 15. Terrible.

ZZ TOP AT L.A FAIR

That Lil" old band from Texas sounded great.However.They started 15 minutes late and were finished in an hour and 15 minutes .no cheap sunglasses or Tush! And I so looked forward to this.Still worth it.Gibbons and new bassist will be ok.

ZZ TOP 4/7/23 PERFORMANCE

75 minute show length is unacceptable. But that wasn't the worst part. The sound mixing was awful. At one point couldn't hear or inderstand the lyrics. Bass had too much feedback. The overall sound was poorly mixed. I've seen them before and they used to put on a 2 hour show and sound was perfect. Not last night.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SHOW

We were so looking forward to this show. We were sorely disappointed. It may be the venue, but the sounds were all mushed together so that you could not hear the vocal distinctly. In addition, the Arlington Theater was uncomfortable hot (no air conditioning on a hot day). It was apparent that the musicians were not enjoying themselves either. They played for barely 90 minutes, and left the stage without playing "Cheap Sunglasses". This was a 50th anniversary tour. They should have played that song.

DISAPPOINTED

Loved seeing the band. Sound was mushy. Leads were strong but could tell they were having a hard time with sound

2.0 star rating from Tulsa, Oklahoma

WTF??

Distorted sound, difficulty hearing vocals, overwhelming bass feedback.....very disappointing performance from one of my favorite bands of all time. Saw them live 4 years ago with Rusty and they sounded perfect! Not sure what the heck is going on with ZZ, but they should pay more attention to listeners experience!

2.0 star rating Mr. J from The Woodlands, Texas

DISSATISFIED

ZZTOP didn't sound like ZZ, they had poor syncopation and bad mixing. Will never see the live show again. Albums are still good.

ZZ TOP

We left at 9:30. Our tickets were a gift. We arrived at 6:00 and had to listen to the two bands preceding the concert. The music, strobe lights, and acoustics were painful to listen We went to see ZZ Top’s and were unable to stay for the concert because there was no relief from the noise level. Disappointing that we missed the concert.

1.0 star rating from Birmingham, Alabama

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

would've paid twice the ticket price for Jeff Beck (5 star performance) to continue playing, he was phenomenal and his band was tight. ZZ was predictable, cheesy and boring.
